Web Design Services for Small Business
A website built for the way customers find businesses now.
Optimization Guy builds fast, AI-optimized websites for local service businesses in South Florida.
People still judge a book by its cover — and a business by its website. But a modern site has two audiences: the humans deciding whether to call you, and the AI engines deciding whether to recommend you. I build for both, from the first line of structure to the last line of schema.
I don't sell AI-generated websites
I don't sell AI-generated websites. Anyone can have a robot spit one out in an afternoon — and AI engines can tell, because they all look and read the same. I build the other kind: a site written and structured from the ground up so that AI engines love it — fast, clean, machine-readable code that makes AI engines want to talk about you. The difference isn't whether AI touched your website. It's whether AI recommends your business.
What "AI-optimized" means in practice
Fast and unbreakable
I build static-first sites — pages that load instantly and have almost nothing to hack or crash. Speed is a trust signal to visitors and to every engine that reads you.
Structured for machines, written for people
Clean semantic structure, full schema markup, question-shaped content. AI answer engines can quote you because they can understand you.
Built around one job
Not "looking nice" — making the phone ring. Every page has a purpose and a next step. ROI has been the design brief since my first build, and it still is.
How it works (the process, modernized)
- Listen. Your business, your customers, your goals. In that order. This step is why the rest works.
- Research. The words and questions your customers actually use, and what the competition ranks and gets cited for. They set the bar; we plan past it.
- Structure. Pages, navigation, and URLs organized the way people think — which happens to be the way engines index.
- Design & build. Behind the curtain, with your feedback shaping it. It goes live when it's right, not when it's Friday.
- Launch. Sitemaps submitted, analytics installed and tested, redirects from any old URLs handled properly. Nothing leaks.
- Train & maintain. You learn to run what's yours; and because I built it, I host it and keep it watched over — updates, security, backups — without you thinking about it. (Sites I build are the only sites I maintain. That's why they stay fast.)
Already have a website? Don't patch it — replace it.
I get asked to rescue aging websites: a new theme, a faster host, one more patch on a decade of patches. I don't do that work, and honestly, you shouldn't pay anyone to. A site built for how engines read in 2015 can't be renovated into one built for how AI reads today — and every dollar spent patching it is a dollar not spent on the thing that actually ranks. Keep your domain and everything it's earned. Replace what sits on it.
The deal
One fair, fixed price — you'll know it before we start, and it won't grow in the dark. You own the site, the domain, the content: everything. No hostage hosting, no proprietary lock-in. When it's live, most owners add the pieces that compound — SEO, AI search, automations — but that's an option, never a condition.
Built for the race. Styled at the finish line.
I build from the ground up for performance. That's what's under the hood — the part you'll probably never see, and honestly, never need to. Aesthetics come last in my build order, and that's by design, not neglect.
Your new site will look the way you want it to. You'll pick your color palette and style, check off your wish list on my build form, and once you see what I've built, you'll get a round of tweaks to make it yours — and you'll be happy, because I don't build ugly websites, and every build ships with the eye-catching details that pull in your specific customers.
What I won't do is burn weeks on custom aesthetic surgery. After decades of building websites, I know where your money actually turns into customers: speed, structure, and visibility — not a fourth meeting about button colors. My builds are ready to roll and delivered fast, built to outrun your competitors where it counts. Don't take my word for it — run any speed test on my site next to theirs and watch.
So, plain talk: if you need to art-direct every pixel of the top layer, I'm probably not the shop for you — and I'd rather tell you that now than disappoint you later. Same door, different reason: if your business isn't real on paper — no real address, no valid license — I can't help you, and neither can AI. The engines verify businesses before they recommend them. So do I.
Because here's the part worth remembering: in the next few years, fewer and fewer people will ever look at your website at all. The machines deciding whether to recommend your business don't care about your gradients. They care about everything under the hood.
