I've caught every big wave of the internet early. AI is the biggest one yet.

George, the Optimization Guy, in a broadcast control room.

20+ yr OG school SEO guy + AI.

  • Internet video pioneer — online years before YouTube existed
  • SEO veteran — ranking websites for over two decades
  • Streaming movie channel founder & CTO — six-figure exit
  • Side hustle: residential real estate appraiser and investor — traditional rentals and a successful Airbnb in Delray Beach

  • Lives in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Florida

I've been early to every wave of the internet. If you've ever surfed, you know what Dawn Patrol is. You're at the beach as the sun rises. Morning winds are calm, creating glassy, perfectly shaped waves. The kooks are still sleeping, which means few surfers in the lineup. You drop in with cordial competition. The ride is free and powerful. The adrenaline rush is exhilarating. It's a great day to be alive.

For an old skool SEO guy like me, AI is the biggest swell I've seen in decades. I am stoked. It's coming in fast. Get ready. Catch it while you can.

That's not just surf talk. My kitesurfing video site was live on the web years before YouTube existed.

KiteFlix, 2002 — now affectionately collecting dust in the Internet Archive, where its vintage homepage still loads on the Wayback Machine. It led its niche for the better part of a decade, filming from Florida's beaches up to the Outer Banks and across the Caribbean, and it ran from my home-built computer right here in Palm Beach County. I was living an "Endless Summer" life — my office was the beach — and it's where I earned my SEO education: years of hands-on learning what it takes to put a website at the top of search results.

The frontier, the toll bridge, and why I'm optimistic

I've also watched the internet change hands. It used to be a frontier — pioneers roamed free, staked a claim by buying a domain, and built whatever they wanted. The playing field was level. Then big money moved in with heavy equipment and started paving over paradise. After Google bought YouTube, it slowly steamrolled its competition, and my happy days at KiteFlix were doomed. Mind you, when YouTube launched it didn't pay creators a dime — uploading meant giving your work away. I fought a good battle, but when the Great Recession hit, it was time to pack up my gear and call it a day.

Nowadays, nobody surfs the internet anymore. Most people visit the same few giant platforms — they remind me of shopping malls. If you want someone to visit your website, you either advertise inside one of those malls, or send customers over the Google bridge and pay a toll for every click.

That's the fight I've been fighting ever since: helping fellow pioneers cross the bridge safely without getting their pockets picked clean.

And it's why AI has me genuinely stoked. When someone asks ChatGPT "who's the best plumber near me?" — that's a brand-new door, a way for customers to find you that Goliath doesn't own yet. The line to get in isn't long. In all my years of being an early adopter, I have never been more optimistic. I know the small-business pain points firsthand, because I'm a small business too.

I've had a lot of success in SEO, mostly because I follow the rules. Google publishes its guidelines plainly, and I keep them nearby like a bible. They guide me to legitimately climb websites up the competitive ladder so the phone rings. That's my primary goal — and the same discipline now applies to the AI engines.

How I work

I'm small on purpose. You get me — the person who does the work, answers the phone, and has skin in every outcome. Behind me is a small team I've trusted for decades. Behind us humans is a powerful AI infrastructure — that's how I keep prices fair and everyone happy. I'll show you how to do the same for your business.

What you won't get:

  • No hidden fees.
  • No website leases or domain locks. You own what you buy.
  • No silver-tongued account managers spewing promises they can't keep.
  • No hand-off to a backroom of newbies learning on your dime.

And I only sell what I've proven on my own projects first. The automations I offer run on my own business — and my own community — before they become products.
